Horton Hears a Who 

Have you seen the film based on the Dr Seuss book? ’Horton Hears a Who’ is about an elephant called Horton who stumbles across a flower just like this one, but that flower is actually a whole other tiny world called Whoville where tiny Who people live. It’s a children’s story yet, as they often are, it’s so profound and thought-provoking.

It’s about mindfulness, about ignorance, about being aware of how much we don’t know about our world, about the life, the wisdom, and the mysteries invisible to us until we really look. So when I saw this flower in Khao Yai, Thailand, it made me smile because it reminded me of Horton and Whoville!
